Gretchen's Story
Life is a big circle. Back in Broomfield again. Have been working in Broomfield for over 5 years. Became single recently after 35 years (kind of bites).
I did the college thing out of HS, but that was interrupted with love, marriage, kids, etc. Decided to go back to college when both my kids were in college (great for the taxes but not the bank account). Have a degree in Organizational Management (HR), but I don't work in HR - work in corporate real estate (don't buy/sell) manage about 3,000 sites for the company. Was lucky to travel to London this fall on business - always nice when someone else foots the bill!
Have 2 wonderful kids (and their spouses) and 5 of the neatest grandkids. The oldest are 11 -1/2 ye...Expand for more
ar old twin boys that are so active, they have a sister that is 8-1/2 who keeps up with them step for step (my daughters kids). My son has an 8-1/2 year old son and a 5 year old - active and absolutely wonderful!
Working as a volunteer with the Broomfield PD (Victims Advocate) and this is really exciting.
Decided it was time to get back in touch with friends - because it is so much fun to re-meet everyone again.
So I finally put a then/now picture up. Life is good - single, but enjoying everything. Getting ready to close on my first home purchase as a single person - decided this is a major accomplishment. Closed on condo and moved in! Yeah!
