Gretchen's Story
I was born in Colorado. I lived in Okinawa, Guam, Louisiana, and Germany before moving to Monte Vista in 1992.
During high school, I was in Drama Club, National Honor Society, and Knowledge Bowl. High school was both my sanctuary and personal hell.
After graduation, I moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1996.
I got married in 2000 and my mother died 1 month later.
I moved to Texas in 2001 and had 2 beautiful daughters.

004. I got divorced in 2014 and have full custody of my daughters.
I have also traveled to Canada, Mexico, and 48/50 states, only missing FL and ME.
My daughters are my reason and inspiration for everything I do. In addition to my 2 biological daughters,ages 14 and 16, I also have 19 kiddos that have adopted me as their other "Mom" person, ranging in age from 8-25. My home has somehow become the safe haven where they can be themselves.
