Grey's Story
Life
After leaving SHS in 1970, I went to Lambuth College on a partial basketball scholarship. In 1975 I became a Special Agent with the FBI and served 25 years in Chicago and Knoxville. I got to see the world with the FBI and worked some of the CNN type cases. I retired in 2000 and currently split my time between my Fraud Investigation business (Grey Steed & Associates) and being a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee in Knoxville. or as exciting as the years in the FBI but allows me to spend more time with my 2 daughters 19 and 22 and my far better half, (spouse). I occasionally get to Nashville to work and see family but regret having so little contact with the people I went to school with at Stratford. Even more rare are my trips to Jackson or the rare contact with Lambuth.
I keep thinking I will write a book one of these days on my FBI years and the people I was blessed to serve with. If ever in Knoxville........
