Grover's Story
Life
After Gal' joined the Air Force, learned electronics, went to work for IBM in Sacramento. Spent time in Sacto, Stockton, San Jose, Dallas, and Seattle. 30 years later retired at age 52. Married for the 2nd time. Present wife is Canadian I met in Austria on a ski trip in 1972. Currently living in a small Dutch dairy farm community up near the Canadian border, Lynden Washington. Am in good health and looking forward to a cruise in the Mediterranean and 3 days in Rome Oct '03. Still working on cars and painting. Life is good!
Jan 2010, Med trip was fantastic, Would love to do it again. Now living on the golf course in our little town in a house I designed and drew the plans for. Enjoying it immensely. Health is good. 70 this May! Wow, hard to believe.....75 next week. Still plugging along. We move...Expand for more
d from the golf course to a nearby adult community. Still a single family home but about 1000 sq ft smaller and a small yard. The golf course place, though I loved it, was just getting to be too much. So we "downsized". June is happier with the small garden and I have less to worry about. As if I had a lot to worry about in the first place?....I must remark that I am glad and blessed that so many of my friends are still on this earth and we're staying in touch......I recently bought a '93 Cadillac Allante'. That's Cadillac's first real sports car. I've been working on it and fixing the things wrong that came with it. It's lots of fun to drive. Just got my driver's license renewed so I'm looking forward to driving it for a few more years. Life continues to be good and I'm counting my blessings.......
