Lupe's Story
Life
My husband, Phil, and I have been married for 37 years. Yes, it's true--it's a long time. We currently live in Wisconsin. We've done a fair amount of traveling--most of it in the U.S.
We have two grown daughters--Kristina (30) who lives in Arizona and Jessica (28) who is currently living with us and her 5 year old daughter. She happens to be the cutest little girl ever--imagine! That also makes me the coolest grandma. :) Both our daughters are out of school. Kristina earned a B.A. from Marquette University in Milwaukee and is currently working on her Master's. Jess had to put her college career on hold to raise her daughter, but hopes to return in the not too distant future.

y-at-home grandma. I think I've earned the chance to rest, such as it is. Chasing around a 5 year old is quite challenging at times, but so much fun.
As far as my interests go, I enjoy walking, yoga, running, listening to music and just about anything that makes me feel good. I also like reconnecting with old friends from high school and have actually made contact with a few.
Since I enjoy walking so much, I participated AND completed the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in 2006 & 2007--a very worthy cause. I'm currently training for the 2010 Walk. For those who don't know, The Avon Walk consists of walking the equivalent of a marathon and a half (39.3+ miles) over a two-day period. Not too bad for a 56-year old!
Overall, my life has been pretty satisfying.
