Gurney's Story

Life Enlisted in USAF immediately after graduating from YHS in May of '57. My favorite YHS teachers were Joe Cialone, Connie Hulbert, Zee Weaver, Aaron Keene, Imogene Bagwell, Alfred McGill, Virginia Bedford, Clara Simer, Pearl Crouch, and Elsie Campbell. Served in USAF from '57 to '61. Married in 1960, still married 45 yrs later. We have only one son. I graduated from UT Aust...Expand for more
in in '63, taught high school biology and chemistry 10 years in Kingsville, TX. Moved to Houston in '73, got masters in public health, worked for local health dept 25 years, retired in 2000. Wife retired same year from Continental Air Lines, so we travel lots (free of charge.) Would love to hear from any Ysletans, because I still love and remember all of you. Gurney Alexander
