After Parkdale. Life, love, heart ache, travel and Sun.
I went to the University of Maryland College Park and stayed close to home. then Moved to California and lived in San Fran for 2 years. and rode a bike, tried to forget Architecture School and Art School from Maryland University. and dreamed to go back to school and unravel being creative.
I went to grad school at California Institute of the Arts and University of California Los Angeles and earned two masters degrees in Finie Art and Architecture.
I worked as a professor for three years at Otis College of Art and Design. and worked in architecture for 7 years. in 3 firms and in my own as a freelance Designer, Academic and Artist.
Wildstar design is my current research group and am dreaming about the future.
I will be attending the University of California ...Expand for more
Santa Barbara in the Fall of 08. I will be getting a PhD in Media arts and Technology from the MAT Department studying Visual and Spatial Arts.
I am excited and happy. and am missing home.
If anyone is Los Angeles or want to be surfing up the Coast in Santa Barbara. then look me up and you can find me at School. thinking, making and conceptualizing the future.
My mom still lives in the same house in Maryland.
Everytime I go back home, I cannot believe the journey of my live thus far. I think that the next few years will be live changing and wonderful .
I miss my old friends. Pam Gary, Jesse Griffin, Eric Lacy, Jack Maratta and the countless others that drove me to run and now remember and celebrate the past.
Wishing you all the best in life and my door is always open to old friends.
Ciao
Gustavo Alfonso Rincon Jr. (Gus)
PS.
I am not the most gullible, anymore, but i do love to talk, play soccer, tennis and think about ideas to the extent that I can never get enough of school.
