Gwen's Story

Wouldn't you know it,this is all Jean Henderson Hazlerigs fault. I have joined this site at her insistance, but have not had time to write my story or even reflect on the last few years. I am not sure I want to answer the questions that are in the Q&A so don't hold your breath there. My husband (Dan)and I currently live in Saratoga, Wyoming and share our lives with two German Sheperds. I have two children my daughter Stephany, who lives in Charles Town, West Virginia with her two children, and my son Jerry, who lives in Gainesville, Georgia. I love everything about living out here and would have never dreamed every year I look forward to hunting elk in the fall, walking to work in the snow in the winter and fishing on the North Platte River in spring. After living in Georgia for most of my life...Expand for more
. . . we have no summer here in my opinion. We moved here 13 years ago from Cumming, GA and restored a 100 year old log house in town. I tell everyone that living in a town of 1700 people where the closest WalMart is 100 miles away is not complicated . . . . either you can or you can't. I only miss two things about the south, the rainy nights and good seafood. Here if it doesn't bounce it isn't done. For the past five years I have been managing a local art gallery in downtown Saratoga and I love every minute of it. I am not looking forward to turning 60 because I still feel 30 . . . getting old sucks! When I find a photo of myself that I like, I will post it but right now some old woman keeps showing up in every photo taken. My best to all of you and a lot of great high school memories, Gwen
