Gwendolyn's Story
After graduating from San G. I attended Cal State Fullerton. While there I was recruited by the US Forest Service (FS) as an engineering intern. I received my degree in civil engineering at the end of 1982 and went to work for the FS fulltime. Both my husband and I have more than 31 years with the government and are preparing for retirement in 4.6 years. We bought a house is Hilo, HI 4 years ago. r and spend 2-3 weeks at a time personally remodeling the 1970's vintage house in preparation for 2014. I have a daughter (28)and a son (26). They each have a son. The oldest grandson (7), Dylan has lived with my husband Audie and me since he was 2 months old. I have collected dolls and toys since 1983. I spend most weekends working on my water gardens (3 large and 2 small pond) which has goldfish, regular koi and butterfly koi.
