Hal's Story
Ok, so my story, kind of generic. After HS I went to school at Del Mar, SWTSU, and UT. (Ah remember Del Mar...... I majored in Pin Ball there.) After moving to Austin for good I ended up taking a job as a land surveyor mainly because I am good with numbers and I could not stand the thought of being cooped up all day. I married and had 2 kids. We divorced and I got custody of the kids. 10 years of single parenting followed until I remarried in 2002. I also got a third kid in the deal rounding out the family. We live in Austin. Daughter is a junior at Texas Sate, oldest boy a sophomore in HS, and the younger starting HS next year. Two dogs and two cats. The last 20 years have ...Expand for more
been full of kid stuff, recitals, baseball games, ballet, football, basketball, soccer, softball, booster clubs, cheer competitions, coaching, etc etc. I met my second wife when her son ended up on the teeball team I was coaching. (Some ladies will do anything to get their kids more playing time.) Now I am looking forward to the next phase of life....... LIFE AFTER KIDS! But first I have a few more years of HS baseball and football games, band concerts, dances, graduations, and a 30 year reunion.
Well there you go ..... my life in a nutshell. Lots of bumps and bruises along the way, lots of crossroads to choose from but in the long run I can't complain. I have been very blessed.
