Hal's Story
Life
Was at Blair then Maury in Norfolk, then moved to Northern VA to Woodson HS for my SR year. I finally grew about the time i went to college. After HS, I went to Nebraska for college, ROTC, then to the Infantry as a Lieutenant, was Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces, had a year in the bush in the Vietnam war, was a Special Forces A team commander for 16 months, and decided i had seen enough death to last a lifetime, so a few years later, went on to become a pediatrician, then did a post doctorial fellowship in nephrology in Denver, eventually ended up in South Carolina, stayed in the Army for 30 years. hospital in the Gulf War. Spent about 6 years outside of the US wearing a uniform, "visited" pretty much every part of the globe, often via nite parachute drop courtesy of Uncle Sam. Retired as a COL. Now with three great kids, dau 36 with her two twin boys, and two younger ones, and a 29 Y/O son and 26 Y/O dau. So very proud of them all. For fun, drive and race a 1965 427 Shelby Cobra, a car of about the same vintage as myself. So have had a very adventuresome and fulfilling life. My hobbies are automotive, esp engines and suspensions, and every sort of photography, and I get published occasionally in this or that automotive magazine. Long Live Rock and Roll!!!
