My daughter, Heather, and her husband, James, adopted a baby boy from Guatemala, Ty Alberto Watne; he is a cute and good and jolly fella. He's got great abs, too.

Workplace
i am a professor of history. i teach all levels of students, from freshmen to doctoral students. i write books and articles in my field of expertise. i have survived (knock on wood) breast cancer (yes, men get this too!) and consider myself very lucky to be alive, happy, married to a wonderful woman, and have a career that i really enjoy.
