Hannah's Story
My two grandchildren are the loves of my life. I read recently that "if I had known how wonderful grandchildren were, I'd have had them first." Ain't it the truth!
Reading a good book while taking a jacuzzi is the best way for me to de-stress.
I have lived in Germany, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, California, Spain, Japan and currently reside in Kansas.
The one person from my past whom I'd most like to see again is Emily Walker, because she was the first person to befriend me when my family arrived in Heilbronn. She is also the first person to see me drunk as a skunk on her father's Johnny Walker Red, which we drank one night when her parents were gone for the weekend...... I was sick for 3 days.
To this day the smell of Scotch makes my stomach turn.

If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a screened-in deck. My dream home would be my sanctuary

I share my home with my husband and my dog, which I find absolutely wonderful.
If I could do one thing differently, I would have gone to college right after high school and become a forensic scientist. The subject fascinates me.
My first job was at the PX Clothing Store in Heilbronn, where I got paid chump change to wait on rude people. What I remember most about it is that I had 3 German co-workers who taught me to speak the German language again.
