Hans's Story

I graduated from high school at Taegu American School in 1986, after having attended North Stafford High School and then Seoul American High School. Started college at the University of Florida in the Fall of '86 & didn't do as well as I knew I could do, then enlisted in the U.S. Army in the Fall of '87. I was able to travel to Germany for my whole 4-year enlistment, and served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. and pediatrician in Virginia. There's a waitlist if you want your child to see her! We've moved around a little bit through the years. All 4 kids were born in Boca Raton, FL, but they pretty much grew up in Fredericksburg, VA and now we're back in Tampa, FL. Two of them are adults and we've got one more knocking on the door of being 18 (as of Nov 2020). I work at Microsoft and would like to do that for the next 12 years, and then retire! We'll see what happens, and we can't predict the future, and there's no rush, because I like what I do, but we're not getting any younger, are we?
