Rebecca's Story

Life I was married June 14, 2002 on a beach in Mexico at sunset. It was the same beach where my he had proposed to me a few years earlier. How romantic! I live in PA with my husband, son, and Chihuahua puppy, Paco. I am a stay-at-home mom and find that it is the most rewarding job that I've ever had. Having a child has changed my life for the better and I'm so grateful to God for all the blessings that he's given to us. School My biggest crush was probably Mike DuPont... My favorite teacher was Mr. Johnson (Spanish). I can still hear him say, "Standing ovulation, everyone!!!" as he ran around the room....I still admire his quirky sense of humor. n May of '98. I was co-director of Socials & Activities for my sorority. My degree was in Elementary School Education. Again, TOO MANY college memories to talk about. I LOVED my years at SSU - they were truly the best!!! Workplace I was a nanny right after college for 3 children. I did that for almost 6 months until I found a job with Carroll County Public Schools. Then in June '99 I started working for a large financial institution. I wanted to pursue that avenue instead of teaching due to the pay/benefits/career opportunities. I was very successful but felt like there was something missing and took a leave of absence after 6.5 years of employment. I currently work at the TLC Montessori school in PA. The staff and children are wonderful. I plan on working until my son is born in May.
