Hanse's Story

Life: My spouse found me at a yard sale, my first thought when I saw her was literally "here comes trouble". I proposed to her two weeks after we met, eight years later she accepted. We have been married for over 30 years. . We live on ten acres in the Oregon woods in a house we designed and built. We have three children and five grandchildren. I worked for over 15 years in the computer and electronics industry, then went back to college and received a degree in computer science. r the Oregon Department of Human Services as a case manager for people with physical disabilities. I officially retired 4/28/17. I now serve as a board member emeritus at the same church where we were married and have attended faithfully for over 30 years and volunteer as an individual mentor at the local gospel mission helping men overcome the behaviors that brought them there. In what ever spare time I can find I spend with my best friend and spouse, play with grandchildren, design and print parts with my 3-D printer, work around the property or go fishing.

Wow! We are up to 10 inches now, Tim got his car stuck in or driveway before he even reached the gate. It's beautiful though! It kind of forces us to stay home and take care of business around the house.
Finishing up and dividing the meat. We had wanted to get another animal but as it was we were there until 1:30 AM cutting up just this one. By the end of the night we were very grateful that there was just one!
