Harold T's Story

There has been some changes in my life lately.I've found one of my BEST FRIENDS and old classmate and military friend.Willis Claudell Jones.We graduated together in the class of 1957 and joined The United States Air Force.I think he was on the bottom bunk and i on top or vice versa but without him i know i would have had a bad time of it due to the fact i was 1/ years old and hadn't been anywhere.My heart sinked when they shipped him out to Tech school after the first four weeks and i had to stay at Lackland AFB FOR THE SECOND PHASE OF TRAINING for 7 more weeks.AFter going home for 10 days I was stationed in Harlingen, Texas in what is known as The Rio Grand Valley.That turned out to be a blessing in disguise because i played drums in a combo on base and downtown.Freddy Fender heard me play and gave me a job. His hometown was San Benito approx. 9 miles from the base.I recorded music with him in English and Mexican.He was just starting but i played with him on his first two records on The Duncan Label. Got off track but in 2007 Willis Jones and i got back together.One...Expand for more
more classmate that we found was Barbara Nell Pickens (Goff) who is both of our Friends.We LOVE our whole graduating class all 25 of us (smile) LOVE you for listening. Luv Ya, Harold (knotts)Locke Giving GOD all the Praise because he is the Head of my life.I've gotten a promotion and I'm so Thankful because it means that my Sisters and Brothers see the change that I'm going through.I am on fire for The Word.I am now Sunday School Superintendant and Finance Trustee of my Church,Praise The LORD.Ordained as a Deacon in 2003 and don't take this as bragging, this is part of my Testamony of where The LORD has brought me from.Still playing Drums in the Choir, just can't sing (smile) But it's coming because we can do evrything through JESUS CHRIST.Everybody keep PRAYING for me that I grow stronger in The WORD.(GOD) The devil had me for a minute, but it's too late for him now.I am a child of GOD. I am not going to claim this but last week i was dianoised with prostrate cancer.Not to worry because GOD has my back.^(Jan 17,2008)Just send up a PRAYER for me and i'll be alright.
