Harold Olsen:

CLASS OF 1991
Brooklyn, NY

Harold's Story

I am from the class of 1991 at Edward R. Murrow HS. After that I went on to attend St. John's University to study Environmental issues such as climate and weather. I graduated in the Spring of 1996. My studies ended there as I did not have the finances at the time to cover going away to graduate school, especially with my father passing away. tely after leaving British Airways, I became a technician at Verizon. I have now been at Verizon for about 13 years now. Since I was doing so well here, I sort of neglected the idea of going back to school and now after all this time, it seems impossible to do so as I am 38 years old. I am still single and for the time being am content with that. I watch most of my friends fight and battle divorces with their wives and I don't need that kind of aggravation. I also do not smoke and I am in good health overall! I bowl in a league and play softball. I also attend lots of ballgames and take frequent trips to AC with friends. I miss the days of Edward R. Murrow High School as its hard to believe its been 20 years since I left there. Nothing could top gym hockey and the days of Steinhandler running the class!
