Chief Warrant Officer Five Harold E. Hall

Chief Warrant Officer Five (CWO5) Hall hails from Dallas, Texas and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in February 1977. He completed recruit training at Naval Training Center, Orlando, Florida in August 1977.
CWO5 Hall’s enlisted tours of duty include Naval Air Station Meridian, MS August 1977 to May 1980, USS Kitty Hawk (CV63) MAY 1980 to August 1984, NATTC Lakehurst, N.J. August 1984 to October 1988, and USS Nimitz (CVN68) November 1988 to April 1991.
CWO5 Hall was commission in April 1991 under the Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Program and attended LDO/CWO Indoctrination School in Pensacola, Florida, in May 1991. CWO5 Hall’s first commission assignment was on the staff of Commander Naval Support Force, Antarctica as the fire protection officer and Officer in Charge Williams Field McMurdo Station Antarctica, June 1991 to October 1994. He transferred to USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) as the Aviation Fuels Division Officer from October 1994 to March 1997, follow by assignment to USS Constellation (CV64) Serving as the Aviation Fuels Maintenance Officer from March 1997 to March 1999, transferring to USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN71)Serving as the Aviation Fuels Division and Maintenance Officer from April 1999 to November 2000, foll...Expand for more
owed by a second tour onboard USS Constellation CV64 Serving as the Hangar Deck Officer from January 2001 to August 2003, followed by assignment to Training Support Center San Diego Serving as the Officer In Charge Detachment North Island, Coronado, California, from August 2003 to August 2004 followed by assignment to Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst N.J serving as the Fleet Liaison Officer and Test Operations Department Head from August 2004 to August 2007. On July 1 2005 CWO5 Hall entered the United States Navy history books as the first source rated Aviation Boatswain Equipment (ABE) CWO5 in the history of the Naval Service, CWO5 Hall was recognized at the White House of President George W. Bush for his historic promotion to CWO5.
CWO5 Hall earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia College and his awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (6 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards) and various campaign and service medals. CWO5 Hall retired on April 1, 2008.
He is married 43 years to the former Patricia Gooch of Dallas, Texas and currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas they have three adult children and six grandchildren: Andra, Harold Jr., Walter, Michael, Tristan, Christopher, Kennedy, Matthias and Walter jr.
