Pamela's Story

I married when I was 20 to a fireman and had 3 children. My husband died in a drowning accident when I was 36 so I had to raise my kids alone. I remarried when I was 45 to an engineer at JPL and have been with him for the last 20 years. I work at JPL in the instrument software section and love my work and the atmosphere here at JPL. I am involved in environmental activities, have solar panels, drive a Prius and work for a conservancy in my city. I live very close to the mountai...Expand for more
ns so we have regular visits from bears, deer, fox, eagles and many other animals. It is a fascinating place to live (except for fire danger). I have 2 boys and a girl and 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and 4 step grandsons. I love cooking and quilting and my degree is in computer science so I am kind of a geek (an old geek) or maybe one of the first geeks! My husband and I travel as much as we can and love adventure. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had such a full life.
