Harry's Story

First and foremost I love God, and His Son Jesus Christ. I love my wife our 4 children who are 36, 34, 32, and 25. I have 7 grandchildren which are very gifted and talented. In addition, I value my connections with my immediate family and friends. I was born in Chattanooga, TNN then moved to Denver, Colorado. I lived in Denver for 10 years and sang with a recording gospel group called the Zion Crusaders. Presently, I live in Oakland, California where earlier in 1968-1971, I went to Roosevelt Jr. High School in Oakland, CA. I went Oakland High School and graduated in 1973, then on to Laney Jr. College. In April 1993 I got married to my wonderful wife Ms Lillie Smyer whom we have been married now 20 years. I recieved my undergraduate degree in Sociology from San Francisco State University. While at San Francisco State I also enrolled in the Teacher's Credential Progra...Expand for more
m as well as graduate school for Interdisciplinary Studies. Eventually in 1998 I was employed with Alameda County Probation Department for 10 years as a Group Counselor in a locked down facility. Lastly, God blessed me with a job with the Oakland Unified School District as a Intervention Specialist until I retired in 2010. Today, I am a gospel recording artist who has released 3 CD's.
