Harry C.'s Story

Life I graduated with a BSME in 1972 from the University of Illinois and was commissioned a 2LT in the Army Corps of Engineers. While on military leave in Chicago in 1976, I met the person I married in 1978. We have two sons. The older has his private pilot's license and graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in December 2004 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He is currently working for The Boeing Company. The younger completed his Pharm Doctorate from the University of the Pacific (UO...Expand for more
P) in Stockton, CA in 2011 and is currently a pharmacist with Kaiser. We have been living in central California since 1978. I retired from Federal service at the end of 2011 after serving almost 40 years with the Army, Navy and Coast Guard. In 2013, I was asked to consult with Jacobs Engineering for a year, and decided an additional 2 years after that was not for me. However, retirement doesn't mean a life of leisure, as I am currently working on house projects and assisting with church projects as needed..
