Life
I am now 71 and I love right where I am at . I just recently retired from Ray Electric.I spend my time at home or enjoying outdoor activities. I have 2 children a son deceased and a daughter 47 also 1 grandson 23 years old in Nashville and 2 grand daughters 12 and 10 I have been married for 52 years. I enjoy going to the gym, biking, and bowling with my nephews, both of my brothers have now passed. . I also enjoy the Detroit tigers... and I am active in my home and at church.. I now have my credentials as a Chaplain attached to first responders and addictions counselor with Reformers Unanimous . Being retired is strange only because this is the first time ever I can say I am unemployed. I plan on pursuing my Chaplain ministry as well as my passion for pottery and bicycling. . November 9th getting my pottery studio set up had my first firing last Friday. lost 2 out of nine pieces. .ready to get busy with some more pottery at Rochester OPC. I have been teaching a wheel throwing class since January 2015 and went back to work at Ray's part time, " As of October 2016 I have been at my passion for Pottery for a year now and enjoying every minute.

witness for Christ there and wherever else I may go. update 2019 I ended my career of 34 years with Ray last July on 7:11 and went to work part time at the OPC. I NOW WORK DELIVERING BULK MEALS ON WHEELS. WE ARE THE HUB FOR NORTH EAST OAKLAND COUNTY. . Never a dull moment. "Life is not the destination it is the journey." My pottery has given me a whole new Mission field and I enjoy teaching as well as getting ready for two craft shows this fall. I feel like colonel Sanders starting all over again with something new at 69years old. I Love my Life....update 12/14/2020. COVID. Working through this time. IMy gift to myself cutting back to 3 days a week at work. This past year will go down as one of the strangest for our country, and the world. The next few years will determine the future for freedom as we know it. Praying for our country. God bless America. summer 2021 still teaching pottery and starting new workshops in my home Studio. Busy summer ahead will resume teaching this fall . I am doing a men’s mentoring group at bigbbys on Tuesday evenings now as a continuation of my Tuesday night ministry the lord has given me. Thankful for Gods blessings every day. Please stop by the OPC I would love to see you I am also at the Shelby twp farmers market every other Saturday selling my wares . I hope everyone is well.
