Heather's Story
I am currently living out my wildest dreams in the Arctic Tundra, hunting Moose, and nestled by a fire at the cabin on the lake...prior to this, I dated a drummer for the band Bone Dry System and ran a picture framing shop called Picture This!, I kickboxed for a few years and then settled down.... I have been in Orlando Florida for the past 5 years (2002-2007) doing a sociology experiment on Homelessness...slept in the streets, hung out at the food pantries...popped out a couple of B-E-A-Utiful puppies, the loves of my life, started a Mural company...and drove 1600 miles to visit my folks ...still painting murals, but working as a researcher at a place called Burrelles-Luce here in Maine......hopefully I will be vacating the premises ASAP to seek lower ground and warmer climate... so around June of 2008, I should be in either Mass or Connecticut.....my life is entertaining, spontaneous and extremely exhausting, but I am healthy and working on happy...an update: August 2009- I have been worki...Expand for more
ng at a residential facility for young moms and their children since April of 2008. My husband, Wayne, passed away quite unexpectedly of Pancreatic cancer and I had the good fortune of being able to take my children down to MA to say goodbye to their Dad in his last week. I stayed with him until his last breath, definitely one of the hardest things I have ever done. Wayne and I were together for almost 11 years and he is the father of my beautiful kids and he will be forever missed. On the flip side, after Wayne passed and I pulled myself out of the fetal position, I started networking through Facebook and low and behold found some people that I had not spoken to in over 20+ years. Long story, very short, Pete Alden and I are head over heels for one another after not seeing each other for 25 years! Amazing the curveballs life throws at you. I got to spend some time with Pete before he was deployed to Baghdad. He will be there until July of 2010...let the next chapter begin!!!!................
