Heather's Story

I grew up right next to Wasatch Jr High and Skyline High. Attended Wasatch but moved during my high school years to Bountiful. I remember hanging out front of Wasatch Jr High in the pine tree smoking...lol! I really didn't like rules, or somehow thought they didn't apply to me. I remember getting up in the middle of class and just walking over to my friends and started chatting like it was ok. Me and in school detention where tite! I remember my first crush like it was yesterday! lol. Ty, he was in one of my 7th grade class'. I joked with him here and there, but never anything else. Looking back I think crushes in 7th grade are just fun to have and I wouldn't change it. In High school I wasn't much of a trouble maker, I moved to Bountiful and made a lot of amazing friends. I grew up pretty much without a mom, I remember my boyfriends moms and how much they meant to me. There was one that treated me like family, she would leave anything to take care of me and Jason. It was a touch of love that changed a lot of who I was. After high school I wasn't able to start College, I was 17..my mom wouldn't co-sign bla bla. Couldn't get a waiver to join the Airforce because of my eye sight. So, I married at 19 and moved to Georgia. He was in the military. We came back 3 years later and then moved for a job in Pennsylvania. It has been an amazing experience living outside of Utah and then coming back. Growing up, I always wanted to be an Optomotrist. I got as far as optician for 4 years, and two years of my generals. I quit my job and put school on hold when my son was 4. It made an enormous difference in his...Expand for more
life, and I'd do it again. My favorite job has to be being a bellman. Wow, a staff of 22 and only three girls, a 23 year olds dream!! I was going to school full time, meeting tons of people everyday. I got paid to exercise! I went home with a cash wad in my pocket and the check covered my bills. We would go after work to the downtown pubs and dance until 3am, on Sunday I'd run after work with my morman buddies and hit the local ward in uniform. It was a little bit of everything...so fun. I met Mahamid Ali, and so many other peeps. Good times. (wouldnt go back, but at that age it was AWESOME). After my divorce I went back to school and recieved a degree in interior design. I mainly worked with eCommerce web sites. The internet is a fast paced industry that is so in its infancy, its challenging and theres always a new project to conqour! I don't know if there is anyone from the past that I am yearning to see again. Although, I would love to hear how they are doing and where life has brought them. I have three amazing children who teach me every day! I hope that I can give them half as much as they have given me. When I win $100 million I am going to go shopping first thing!! Buy a house and have lots of fun. To be truly happy, I would own my house in the area I live in now, my kids all taken care of, and to have someone in my life to share the happy...and share the not so happy times. I know that money isn't everything, to be truly happy I would have enough in the bank that I would never have to worry about it again. If I had one do-over...I'd say marry later in life, like after my twenties.
