Heather's Story
I started out working for Bank of America right out of High School and worked there for 11 years. I left as the Assistant for the Atlantic Region Executives. My Husband Drue, my children and I moved to Perryville, AR (population 2500) in 1999 where I was trained as a dental assistant. (yes, this is a dream job for me - I love it) We moved to Texarkana, TX in 2004 and stayed here until 2011 when my oldest graduated High School. e our FINAL move to Sheridan, Arkansas. Same story (small town, great people) and I worked as a pediatric dental office manager again.... I love the field, what can I say!! My youngest graduated in 2013 and I accepted a position working for the Arkansas State Medical Board. Six years later and I’m a Licensing Supervisor. The ASMB governs Arkansas medical practitioners and helps ensure the people of the State of Arkansas receive the best care from the most competent practitioners. I know that my job is helping keep the people of Arkansas safe and healthy.
