Life
After graduation, I attended Iowa Central Community College, where I received an Associate of Arts degree (only after the college screwed me out of my Business Management degree!! No hard feelings there.) I bought myself my first brand new car, a 2002 PT Cruiser, which I am still driving 5 years later, and will continue to drive until it falls apart on me!! I got a job as a teller at United Bank of Iowa in August of 02, and I'm still there! I like playing with money all day. It's fun! I also help out with the Overdraft Defender product and do some Internet Banking tech support once in awhile. In August of 2006, I bought a house in Ida Grove. very sense of the word. It had NO kitchen whatsoever, unless you counted the room with 1 cupboard & no sink as one. So, that was an expensive start. 20 gallons of paint & 6 months of hard labor later, I was finally able to move into it in February of 07. Now I'm enjoying (ha!) homeowner-ship. It's a nice house, though. High ceilings, gorgeous hardwood floors, a beautiful banister, and (now) an awesome kitchen! It's come a long way from being the only person bidding on it at an auction! Aside from dragging my house kicking and screaming out of the 40s, I haven't been up to much. I try to visit my friends as much as possible, even if it's via email or text message. No Mr. Right or Mr. Right Now in my life, but I'm still hopeful that he's out there! :)
