Heather's Story
Heather's schools include Serrano High School and she is a CSUSB graduate. I have spent the past 10 years teaching Health, Sports Medicine, Medical Terminology, Physical Eduction and Social Studies at Smith Valley High School in Smith, NV. Coached the JH basketball and volleyball teams for the past 9 years. (Easy game schedule when the kids were little.) Also, volunteered as the youth softball coach for 3 years during this time. Will be coaching High School track for the next few years and am looking forward to it as it'll be new experience. Both of my kids run HS track so it should be a good gig. Married 16 years. Have a 15 year old daughter (Kellie) and 14 year old son (Cory) and they are good kids, straight...Expand for more
A students, involved in just about every sport and really good athletes.
Still like to ski and usually choose June Mtn. (when it opens), or will head up to Kirkwood or Heavenly depending on what day of the week it is and how much money I want to spend on a ticket. Summertime we ski or wake-board Lake Topaz or Lahontan. Still race desert in So.Cal on occasion but spend more time fishing the West fork of the Walker river as it's only 1/2 mile away. Spend any left over time Mtn. biking, golfing, or working on the house. We built another new house last year so landscaping takes a bit of work but it's come together pretty well.
I'm living the motto: Life is short, enjoy it!
