Life
Well it is 2006 and time just keeps on going. This year my husband and i will be married of 20 years. It sometimes feels like it was just the other day. Well we have moved around a little Brampton, kitchener, Brampton and now Combermere. We are just east of algonquin park. I work in a little town called Barry's Bay. We were runners up for Hockeyville. It is a nice place an quite, with great sceanery. Every now and then i do miss the city with all the people and lots to do, but then i also remember the hussle and bussle of work life. I work a franchisee of Home hardware and it sometimes seems that i have stepped back over 20 years. We don't open sundays, close at night by 6 pm, and everything is on the honour system. IN MY FINAL YEAR AT SCHOOL I WORKED AT A PLACE CALLED FUDRUCKERS, AFTER THAT I LANDED A JOB AT K&N (KUENHE AND NAGEL DISTRIBUTION CENTER.) i WORKED THERE UNTIL 1988, AS I THEN MOVED TO KITCHENER WITH MY HUSBAND. I STARTED WORKING AT BURGER KING IN THE FALL OF 1988 AND WENT BACK TO SCHOOL TO GET MY RESTAURANT AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT DEPLOMA. I STAYED WITH THEM UNTIL 2001, WHEN I DECIDED I NEEDED A CHANGE. I THEN JOINED BUILDING BOX AS A MANAGER FOR 3 YEARS, BEFORE WE DECIDED TO MOVE UP NORTH. I NOW WORK AT A HOME HAREWARE BUILDING CENTRE WHERE I AM INCHARGE OF PAINT, DECORE, FLOORING, KITCHENS, BATHROOMS, MOULDINGS, AND LIGHTING. i LOVE IT AND ENJOY IT.
