Life
March 4, 2008. Well, here it is time again to update the bio. Day to day life is still the same as always, but I have had a few exciting things go on. For example:
UPDATE 02/21/2008. Dennis and I went to the Los Angeles premier of the movie "Penelope". We were fortunate enough to be given tickets by a very good friend and the whole experience was very exciting, with bouts of standing around in between. We got to go to the afterparty and rub elbows (literally, it was soooo crowded!) with some stars, who by the way are waaay more glamorous in the magazines than in real life (and a lot shorter, too!). Christina Ricci is tiinnyy, James MacAvoy isn't as tall as he seems on screen, either. All in all, it was fun for an evening, but I have to say I was glad to leave at the end. I'm a pretty simple girl from Bellingham, not a Hollywood socialite, and watching all that shmoozing going amongst those "...Expand for more
in the loop" kind of got to me. The place I REALLY had fun was.......
UPDATE 3/1/2008 The Arizona Renaissance Festival in Apache Junction, AZ!! This is my favorite trip to take all year, even better to me than Paris, Amsterdam or Belgium. We dress up and do all the kitschy things that out of towners do, and I love every minute of it. We went to a real gold mining town from the 1800's called Goldfield, and ate dinner at the Mining Camp Restaurant, where we ate ribs and beans off tin plates, and put cactus jelly on our rolls. Pure heaven, if you ask me. I put up some pics just for you all to see.
