Heather's Story
Life
My husband Dave and I have been living in Houston TX for a while now. We have built a home and moved in within the last couple of months. We are really enjoying it. I am not missing the cold winter months that I experienced the last couple of years living in Fargo. It is way too cold there. Sometime eventuallly, I am sure we will have some kids, but for now we are just focusing on our new home and enjoying life.
College
Aaah, college. That was a fun time, now I have had to wake and realize that I will be working for the next 40 years.
I Want to give a shout out to my roommates that I had over the years, all 14 of you (at different times of course).
College was way too much fun, but I finished and got myself into the real world. I loved every minute of sch...Expand for more
ool, sometimes I miss Mankato, there are too many memories there.
I will have to go back for homecoming sometime, and pull an all day binge and start at 8am. I will probably die, I can't keep up with the young kids anymore.
Go Mavericks! Ha, ha, yeah right. (Mankato has terrible sports teams, except for the Hockey team)
Workplace
I am currently an Operations Analyst for Navteq, a worldwide provider of digital maps (look it up!). I analyze data (statistically, that is...) and I schedule various world wide projects. I travel quite a bit. I have traveled to Chicago, Fargo and even Cologne, Germany.
I began my career in Fargo, ND as a Geographic Technician. From there I moved on down to Houston, TX and now work in a smaller office (field office) remotely.
