Heather's Story

Life After high school I took one year off to save some money. I then went to college in MN. I graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Music and Special Education. In 1992 I was married to Paul my high school sweetheart (from New London). We moved to Aitkin, MN where he taught German at a High School, and I substituted around the area. In 1997 we moved to Nevada near Las Vegas. We both taught there for 7 years. During that time we both went back to school for our Masters. In 2003 we had our first child, a girl Amalie. I quit my job to stay home with her ...Expand for more
(best thing I ever did). A year later we decided that Vegas wasn't a place to raise children so we moved back to WI (second best thing we ever did). In the summer of 2005 we had a second child Samuel. I am still an At Home Mom, and my husband is an Assistant Principal in West Allis. We currently live in Waukesha and I love it! We hope to have one more child, but who knows. I plan to go back to teaching when the children are past first grade, but heck who knows about that either. I guess I should update this... We now have another little girl Greta. She was born August 15, 2007. AND NOW I AM DONE HAVING CHILDREN!
