Heather's Story
Heather was born in Pasadena, California. She comes from a remarkable family, including builders, politicians, and writers. Until she was five years old, she lived in the former maid's quarters of what had been President Herbert Hoover's son's summerhouse in Sierra Madre, California with her young, hippie parents. Her great-grandfather was a prominent builder in Los Angeles. His concrete company, Wailes-Bageman Concrete, built the original Los Angeles Music Center, the famed Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, and several buildings on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Heather graduated from Huntington Beach High School in 1988. Heather worked at IBM, Autodesk, and CrossApps, Inc.
