Thomas's Story
Life
Married 24 years to Lori (I met her in Omaha-Burke High, class of '75), who turned out to be Les Spulak's first cousin! Whoda thunk it...
I have two boys: Derek 21, and Kyle 17. What a handful. Derek is the nut, the entertainer (I have no idea where he got that from?). Little brother Kyle doesn't take any guff off his big brother.
I spent several years in radio broadcasting, which took me to Arizona, New Mexico, and Nebraska. I worked in Colorado and Denver as well, using the air name "Mike Thomas" from '82 to '87.
I also tried to own and operate a restaurant in Omaha in the...Expand for more
early 90's, which really turned into a pain in the @$$.
Currently I am an insurance agent with AAA. Yeah, it's a rough market...
When I was a young buck, I ran cross country at Metro State, and even competed against the likes of CSU, Air Force, Wyoming, New Mexico and Adams State. I still try to keep in shape with the running.
Something classmates never knew about me? I'm a huge Bronco and sports fan.
I had a great time at the reunion, and to see everyone was a riot! THERE WILL BE A 40TH!. Let's hope that the turnout will be even better.
