Heidi's Story
Life
Left Barron Collier during my junior year and finished high school at Estero High. After a few attempts at college I joined the Army in 1991, and lived in Germany for 2 years. Married in the Army and had a son, Andrew. After my husband and I completed our commitments to the Army, we went our seperate ways. I came home to Florida. Reunited with some old friends and fell in love. Been married for 7 years now to Bruce Sheffield (alumni from Estero). We are raising 5 children, ALL boys. Military
Basic training in Ft. Jackson, AIT in Ft. Gordon 31C, then two years in Miesau Army Depot 1992-1994. Married Joe Butz an MP. Met many wonderful people in those two years, think of them often. Got pregnant and finished my commitment to the Army. Joe and I went to Ft. Irwin for a year, we had a son, Andrew. After Joe completed his commitment we seperated and finally divorced. We both went home, me to Florida, him to Indiana. We are both happily remarried with families, and keep in touch through our son.
