Heidi's Story
Life
After SHS I went to Eastern and got my BS in Interior Design. In 1993 I moved to San Paulo, Brazil for a while with my then boyfriend and taught English to corprate executives, if you can believe that. When I returned I contracted myself out to UofM and eventually got a job with a Steelcase dealership in Southfield. When that company was sold I had Herman Miller and Haworth calling to see if I would work for them. I went with the Herman Miller dealership in West Bloomfield. office for them in Ann Arbor. After a year I decided I can do this for myself and in 1997 started my own business, Contract Interior Services, LLC. I work at home and do a lot of work for Steelcase dealerships. My main accounts for the past four years have been Federal Mogul Headquarters and Marsh USA. I am currently contracted out to JCI to work on site as there Senior Project Designer.
I bought my first home in 1998 in Saline. I can hear the Saline football games from my home. I have been engaged, but never married.
