Heidi's Story
Life
Life sure hasn't been easy but it's been a great learning experience!
Instead of going to college like my parents wanted after high school, I married very young and had 2 children by the time I was 22. My ex husband was an addict and after realizing things were not going to change, I divorced him when my son was only 2 months old. My "kids" are now 17 & 19. I can't believe how fast time flies!
It was the hardest job ever being a single mom with no career, no school and no money. However, it made me into the strong woman I am today. I started college when I was 23, got into the telecom industry and worked my way up to Management. I had to give up college as going full time, working full time and raising 2 kids was too much. I decided to return when they were older.
I started back in college 2 years ago at CU/Denver to finish up my B.S. in Human Resource...Expand for more
s/Minor in Business and CRJ. I recently transferred to Regis about 1 year ago and have about 1 year left to finally get that degree! I can't wait! I work at Qwest and have been there about 10 years now.
I am going through a second divorce now as my husband of 10 years left and its been a very hard time for me.
I still love music and even frequent concerts with my daughter as we have the same taste in music. I love catching shows whenever I can and it's great because my favorite bands still seem to be touring! I also love going out with my friends and just being around people.
This site has been great for me because I have been in contact with some really wonderful friends that I haven't spoken to in so many years! Life is too short and it's great to catch up with you! I am also on facebook under "Heidi Saracino". Hope you are all doing well! Go Farmers!!!!
