Helen's Story
I attended Pajaro, Pajaro Annex, Hall, EA Hall & graduated from Renaissance High School in 1977. Renaissance was pretty cool. In hindsite I wish that I had went to Watsonville High. I lost track of many old friends. After High School I moved to Valley Springs. Cool little town east of Stockton, Ca. I got married & sold real estate for a few years. I had 3 great kids, enjoyed doing lots of interesting things. Built a great life in that cool little town. Marriage did not work out. I was tired of the heat & high cost of living, so I eventually moved to Oregon with my kids. Love it here. Great people, beautiful land, have a nice little farm & love living outside a small town. 2015 Sold the farm and have a new home in town. Less to take care of and allows me time for other activities. I am a big hiker, never run out of cool places to see in Oregon.
I went to Spain in 2016. Biking, waking, tubing rivers, activist standing against social injustice.
My brother Daniel Bixler passed on 11/13/2016 after hip replacement, he had a heart attack.
Daniel was hit by a drunk driver in his 20’s and struggled with a major brain injury, a broken body. He left behind 2 children.
