Helen's Story
Life
After High School, I went to what was then Trenton State, but which is now College of NJ. I left after 3 years, getting a job in the government as a civil service worker at Fort Dix as a Military Pay Clerk. I worked there for 3 years and then went to work for the State of NJ in Trenton at the Dept of the Treasury. I then went into the private sector, where I met my husband while performing with the Garden State Players in Toms River. We were married in 1983 and moved to California. I missed NJ so moved back. After working 2 years as manager for the WAWA FOOD CHAIN I became a computer sales rep at MicroWarehouse. I have been there 4 years. My husband also works there in customer service. I work currently in internet sales and really like my job. My oldest is now 15 and entering his 2nd year at Southern Regional. My second son is working on his blackbelt in Karate and will be on the Freshman football team at Southern. My last son is beginning his 5th year in Pop Warner Football and is entering the 7th grade. We live in a four bedroom house in Barnegat and have a good life.
