Helen's Story
Helen is from New Orleans, Louisiana. Helen is married, the mother of two sons, one deceased and "Dear" to two precious grandsons. Helen's schools include Cohen High School, Southern University at N.O, and Xavier University Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Helen

where she was a sponsor of the Helen sponsored Student Council and the reigning champion Debate Team. Helen retired at the end of 2011 school year.

More about Helen:"I am a God fearing woman of Christian faith. I love the Lord. My family my church family my friends my community and students. I love and miss New Orleans and my heritage of loved ones who live in and around the area. I love my majorettes from the very first one to the very last ones. I am one of four children and have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren through my younger son who is deceased and greatly missed. Still waiting on my grandaughter from my remaining son. My husband is my best friend and the love of my life. I have a great support system in my in-laws and siblings. Last, I am proud to be a member of the 1971 class of WaLoCo where our principal, Mr Perry made all of us feel special. Everyday, "darling." Last but not least my grand parents r given all the praise for my Christian upbringing, standards, and my morals/values.".
