Helen's Story
Three hours after receiving my college diploma, a friend & I were in a car headed for Boston. We had spent the two weeks between the end of classes and graduation looking for jobs in the Lansing area to no avail, so thought it would be more interesting to starve to death on the east coast rather than in MI. If I remember correctly, we each had $50, no jobs lined up & no place to stay. We got down to our last $5 before Linda got a job, and I was down to my last 25cents when I got a job. Ah, to be young and fearless again.

I met my husband at Teradyne, and we've been happy couple for 36 years. I have two stepsons, aged 39 & 37, and one daughter aged 26. One boy has two children and the other four, so I'm a very happy grandma of six! I'm trying to write a story book for each grandchild. I currently have one that will show up in Amazon.com soon, but meanwhile can be seen at createspace.com/3371299.
