Life I graduated from Dunbar High School in 1964. Dunbar High School memories are the absolute best. I attended Dunbar from the 7th through 12th grades, and I made some life long friends, and had some of the most rewarding academic and social experiences. I had many friends and activities growing up in Somerset Projects. I was a member of the Kadets of America, which was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. My parents were the sweetest persons I've ever known. My father was a barber down on Baltimore and Dallas Streets, and my mother was a janitress at Brywn Mawr School for Girls. My parents instilled good values and were very loving.eventhough they were no nonsense. I have two younger sisters--Patricia and Sandy both of whom graduated from Dunbar. After high school, I worked a short time as a secretary in the school office; then, I went to work for the State of Md., Dept. of Rehabilitation as a secretary. I, then, discovered that I wanted to go to college, and enrolled at Morgan State University in 2/66. I married my childhood sweetheart in 1967 who was in the United State Air Force, stationed at Nellis AFB, in Las Vegas, Nevada. I, then, moved to Las Vegas and after his four year enlistment, lived in that community for 17 years. We had a daughter who is the light of my life.
