Helen's Story

Life Hey...ya'all.....and that's an expression picked up after 12 years in TX.... Left Pgh when I married a guy -from Peabody! as a Navy wife....... 23 years as a service family.....living on both coasts....mostly in So CA.....from '58 to '91... then after Bob Thorne passed away, moving to CO...... getting married again in '94, moved to TX...... Now that Mr Carroll has passed....I'm in AZ, making new friends once again....enjoying a GREAT LIFE, exercising every day, with the Silver Sneakers group (sponsored,paid for, by my health insurer)....I hada home in Sun City, Rancho Vistoso.....Oro Valley, AZ.... BUT.... as of Feb/...Expand for more
Mar of '08, I now reside in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas ! ! !..... I've been back to Pgh about once every two years...for celebrations, weddings, etc.... My 7 children live from CA to FL....so I have lots of places to visit... It's always great to hear from Classmates ! and by the way, I keep busy - as an Avon representative ! your AVON.com/hthornecarroll Find a Rep....at 71909 happy regards Helen (O'Shell) Thorne-Carroll When our street, Lyric Street, was re-paved, Billy Means & I,,,,,,walked down the opposite side of the street....then FELL IN.....when we tried to get back to his house! We were a black Mess !!!.....
