Helen's Story
After living in Riverdale for 40+ years, Louie and I moved to Tulare in March, 2010. Moving from a town with 3,000 people to 60,000+ has been a change. But one we love. Louie's son Steven, and his family live in nearby Tipton. My daughter, Jana, lives just 5 minutes from me now. My oldest grandson, Eric is a firefighter/paramedic for Tulare. Grandson Nic is a manager of Saputo Cheese here in Tulare. And my grand daughter works at Visalia SPCA and goes to school at nights. t seems as if my life went from a drifting stream to white water rapids and I'm really enjoying it.I
Another bonus is that my sisters and brother Larry are now only 1 hour away from me. I've enjoyed visitig all of them in their homes. Laurie still teaches at TJ in Wasco. Othel and Marcia are still living the Montana lifestyle.
I was really sorry to miss the REUNION but that is the time that we go on our annual deer hunting trip to Idaho--15 years now. Hopefully, I can make the next one.
