Life
Retired from career of 35 years as an Electronics Technician. Undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in Education & Psychology. Masters Degree in Rehabilitation of the Blind. Currently President of Vision Impaired Personal Services, Inc. (VIPS). Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist. Contract with GA Vocational Rehabilitation for transportation, job coaching & O&M. Provide transportation for the school age visually impaired students attending the Social, Therapeutic & Recreational Services(STARS program) at the Center for the Visually Impaired in Atlanta. Life member Girl Scouts. Retired professional clown (past GA Telephone Pioneers Clown of the Year). General class Ham radio operator license. Taught O&M last year at Newton County School System in Covington. Substitute teacher for several years in Henry County. Advocate of persons who are blind or visually impaired.
