Helen's Story
I have been based in Florida now for the past 25 years. My career in the field of educational travel keeps me busy and traveling much of the time. Recently returned from a trip to Turkey and Greece and Turkey quickly became one of my favorite European destinations. Hope to one day return. Ultimate dream: To visit Africa --- not to work but to totally enjoy the culture, the people, the land and the wildlife. One day!!! Over the years, life has brought much laughter, great experiences, many challenges, and, of course, changes. The "now" is peaceful, lots of fun and very much worth living!! By the way, since registering on Classmates, I have already renewed some very dear friendships. Those were fun days - memorable ones --- and, boy was I skinny!!!

UPDATE: Still continuing to love life. Very lucky to still be traveling. This year (2015) I had many great trips to the Northeast (work) and four trips to Europe. Never get enough, whether it is work or play. This time to Wales and Ireland. Wow, very proud of my roots there! And then several times to Belgium and France. Last trip for total fun was my vacation in August: Barcelona, Carcassonne, the French Riviera, and my beloved, Italy, again. Care to join me on my next adventure ... everyone is welcome. Make your dreams come true with freinds!
Of course, I am always ready to return to my home in Florida and my family and friends. There truly is no place like home.
