Helen's Story
Life
My Spouse
Bill and I have known each other since we were 10yrs old. We met in the Pocono Mtns. He went to Cardinal Dougherty HS. and graduated in 69 also. We married in 1974. have 2 girls. Live in the Poconos and love it. We built our own home on an acre of ground that we own. We also own all the riverfront and woods and top fields with other family members. We fish and go boating on the Delaware River. and its nice to take walks through the woods. it is quiet where we are since some of the family only live up here in the summer.
My Pets
We have 2dogs. One is a beagle Lizzie that is 6yrs old. and goes hunting with my husband. The other dog is Cherry- 13yrs old. she is a house dog that looks like a lamb after she has been groomed . we nicknamed her lambchop. My Kids
I have 2 beautiful daughters. Amy (25) my oldest is getting married in the fall of 2002. She and her fiance have a daughter-Emily Anne age 6yrs. My youngest Nancy(23) lives at home and is the head of the Commissions Dept. at Penn Treaty North American Ins. Co. I am very proud of both of my girls. Amy and Her fiance are in the real estate business and are doing very well. Nancy would like to move to New York and get a job at Morgan Stanley co.
My Job
I presently work for PNC Bank in Stroudsburg,Pa. as backup head teller. I have worked in the banking and financial business since graduation. I have gone from teller to assist. manager and now just backup teller for a less stressful position. I have charge of the currency & coin vaults and advise customers on the best accounts for them.
