Helen's Story
Military
I never thought that I would make it through boot camp, but somehow I managed. It was just what my attitude needed! I was stationed in Camp Humphrey's Korea, Fort Drum New York, and Fort Jackson South Carolina (where my home is!) I worked as both Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Operations Specialist and Administrative Assistant. I am currently out of the military, but am traveling with my husband who is a soldier working in the Medical field.
School
Looking back at school, there are alot of things I wish I would have done differently...But I wouldn't change a it a bit because it has made me who I am today! ...Expand for more
Now my children will not have to make the same mistakes, but learn from mine. School was a tough time for me, but it definately made me a better, stronger person as God was developing me. I am currently working towards my degree in education. Working with kids is absolutely awesome and definately challenging at times!
The Future
My husband and I were both ordained ministers in the church this past summer. My husband is a Pastor and God is leading us to have our own church and to open a Christian school. We are planning to have more children and continue to fall deeper in love with each other and our family. LIFE IS GOOD!
