Helen's Story

Can you believe it's 2009. A lot has happened since graduation, 1971. It's been quite a ride. I graduated college in 1975 from Texas A&I (will be until I die!). I met the man of my dreams in Alice, TX and we married February 12, 1977. I spent my career of 28 years in the school food service environment as Director of Food Services. 04. I am now a co-owner of a tanning salon and gift boutique in Alice, TX. We opened in May, 2005. I have two children: Justin, 21 yrs. old, going to college in Washington to get a degree in Game Design; and a daughter, Megan. She is 18 and a senior in high school and is awaiting her acceptance letter from Texas A&M College Station. She wants to be a vet.
