Helene's Story
I work for Fresno County Office of Education in an Autism Classroom and I love it. When I graduated from McLane I took a test to see what careers I would do best at, one of the suggestions was teacher, I thought the test was faulty.
I did not want to teach, I wanted to travel, take languages, and law, maybe work the U.S. Embassy overseas. Well I never quite got there, after working several different jobs, I volunteered to teach Sunday School and I was hooked. So I guess the test was right after all, I h...Expand for more
ave never gotten tired of working with kids in the classroom.
I have been blessed with 3 boys who have given me many experiences, some great some not so great, but I wouldn't trade them for anything.
A husband who is very patient with me.
I enjoy learning new things and having new experiences. I like doing volunteer work in the community and in my church.
I hope to end up on the coast when I retire, but I have found out there are no guarantees in life and that you can be happy & content anywhere.
